Jackets
Once upon a time, a woman walking into an atelier would have asked for an overcoat. Today, the world of overcoats includes a truly endless list of models that are distinguished by their fit, thus by their design, but also by the materials used. And what type are you? Do you prefer jackets, vests, coats or down jackets? Not everyone will know this, but the padded jacket we are used to today is a recent invention, the brainchild of a Seattle hiker, Eddie Bauer, owner of a hunting and sporting goods shop. In 1935, he risked his life due to hypothermia after a fishing trip. On that occasion, he realised that there was no jacket that was comfortable, warm and waterproof enough to prevent similar incidents to the one that happened to him in borderline weather conditions. So he decided to patent it using goose feathers and in 1936 the first down jacket was born, the Skyliner, registered in 1940. It was then the turn of the 1970s when the creativity of New York designer Norma Kamali, proposed a long model on the market, made from the union of two sleeping bags. Finally, in the 1980s with the arrival of the paninarians, a new version, more rounded and colourful, conquered the generation of the time. From being a purely casual and sporty item, the jacket after the 1990s entered the category of luxury clothing, revisited by haute couture designers.
With our collections we try to satisfy all the needs of a dynamic woman with fashionable garments. Because everyone's wardrobe today can never be without a jacket for a work appointment or an important occasion, just as it is always useful to have a light and perhaps even elegant jacket in addition to the classic winter jacket, waterproof, warm, wrapping, a little oversize. But fans of clothing with a more underground and practical flavour will not be disappointed either, as they can consider more rounded lines. Let's see them together!
